Mammoth Hot Springs, Yellowstone, USA

It was a big contrast travelling through tall forests and then arriving at these barren patches in the landscape. Hot water flowing beneath my feat, hot vapours rising, this gave me a unique landscape to photograph within Yellowstone. Fotoman 617 with Schneider 90mm, Fuji Provia ISO 100, Centre filter, .6 ND filter, f22 @1 second. Limited Edition: 300

Yellowstone Park, Wyoming, USA

I found the bubbling mud and vapour gases a great site within the park. I wanted to capture these elements creating this almost surreal winter landscape. I had to wait for a subtle breeze to gently push the white vapour cloud to the left of the frame helping diffuse the strong sun and compose this image. Fotoman 617 with Schneider 90mm, Fuji Provia ISO 100, Centre filter, f22 @1/2 second. Limited Edition: 300

Messa Falla, Idaho, USA

I found this waterfall by chance whilst driving between destinations. I was rewarded with a stunning watrefall to photograph cutting its way through a mighty ravine. Lighting conditions were perfect which helped capture this image. Fotoman 617 with Schneider 90mm, Fuji Provia ISO 100, centre filter, f22 @4 seconds. Limited Edition: 300

Mississippi River, USA

Whilst driving along the banks of the Mississippi river I saw great potential for photographing these trees known as 'Water Tupelo Trees'. I kept driving looking for a clearing along the bank helping highlight these trees in the afternoon sun. Fotoman 617 with Schneider 90mm, Fuji Provia ISO 100, Centre filter, .6 ND filter, f45 @4 seconds. Limited Edition: 300

Grand Tetons, Wyoming, USA

It was the start of the animal hunting season in Wyoming, I stood here nervously taking this photograph out in the field with the sound of rifles echoing in the distance. Fotoman 617 with Schneider 90mm, Fuji Provia ISO 100, Centre filter, .6 ND filter, f22 @4 seconds. Limited Edition: 300

Big Sky, Montana, USA

This image was taken south of the Bridger Mountains. I was looking for barns to photograph during my stay in Montana. This image gave me the opportunity to sit back in a field watching the clouds roll by in the state with the 'Big Sky'. Fotoman 617 with Schneider 90mm, Fuji Provia ISO 100, centre filter, .6ND filter, f22 @4seconds. Limited Edition: 300

Wormsloe, Savannah, Georgia, USA

A grand driveway with majestic oak trees draped in Spanish moss. I captured this image with a slow shutter speed in the failing light. Fotoman 617 with Schneider 90mm, Fuji Provia ISO 100, centre filter, f22 @6 minutes. Limited Edition: 300

Bridger Mountains, Montana USA

It was during the final moments of the day when the sun left a faint afterglow to help illuminate this bygone barn nestled beneath the Bridger Mountains. Fotoman 617 with Schneider 90mm, Fuji Provia ISO 100, centre filter, .6 ND filter, f22 @2 minutes. Limited Edition: 300

Donoho Peak, Wrangle St-Elias, Alaska

This was a very ‘rugged’ place worth exploring. I liked the blazing red bushes in the foreground which leads into the two glaciers wrapping themselves around Donoho Peak. I can feel Alaska calling me back when I view this image. Fotoman 617 with Schneider 90mm, Fuji Velvia ISO 100, Centre filter, .6 ND filter, f45 @ 1 second. Limited Edition: 300

The Alaska Range, Alaska

Late in the season was an exceptional time for photography in Alaska showing off bright rich colours. The peak of Mt McKinley can be seen poking through the veiling clouds hovering around the base of the mountain. Fotoman 617 with Schneider 90mm, Fuji Velvia ISO 100, Centre filter, .6 ND filter, f22 @1 second. Limited Edition: 300

The Alaska Range, Alaska

I really enjoyed seeing the results of this image after the film had been developed. The light was literally dancing through the clouds highlighting different areas throughout the image. I was also drawn to this scene by the large white fluffy clouds drifting across the sky. Fotoman 617 with Schneider 90mm, Fuji Velvia ISO 100, Centre filter, .6 ND filter, f22 @1/2 second. Moulton Barn, Wyoming, USA

The John Moulton barn lays just outside of Jackson Hole, situated in the Grand Tetons National Park. The Teton Range prominently shows itself off in the background, it truly is breathtaking to view. On our way to this shoot, we were lucky enough to be alongside a field filled with Bison grazing lazily, giving us an opportunity to see these gigantic buffalo up close! As a double treat, on our way back to Jackson we spotted our first Moose in North America, totally cool!

New York City, USA

One of the most famous bridge and city skyline in the world? We just timed this shoot perfectly, landing in New York and jumping in a taxi to catch the beginning of sunset over the city that never sleeps. New York was our last stop before leaving America after driving 4100 miles through the USA and Canada over 21 days! (That's a lot of driving!) To just sit and take the time needed to achieve this shot was a pleasure. We witnessed three separate wedding shoots and just enjoyed people watching in this incredible city. (Brooklyn has the best pizza shop in all of five boroughs, it is literally a five minute walk from thelocation of this shoot, do yourself a favour when your next in DUMBO and call in and share a Juliana's Pizza, you will not be disappointed!)

Olympic Park, Washington, USA

I caught this view out of the corner of my eye just as we were driving past in our RV. It's an amazing drive along the West Coast of America, we were constantly rewarded to beautiful scenery such as I was able to capture here. It was so peaceful, I love parts of our world which are breathtaking and remind why I love being at one with my passion of capturing what I'm seeing.

Golden Gate Bringe, San Francisco

I really like this shot of the Golden Gate Bridge. We settled in to watch the sunset over the South Bay, rugging up to keep warm as this beach isn't the most sheltered as you can see! (Which only added to our surprise to find out that Baker Beach, the location for this shot, has a nudist section, so don't be as shocked as us to see brave souls bearing it all in not so balmy conditions!) What an amazing destination to spend an evening. What a view.

Golden Gate Bridge, San Francisco

There are several great vantage spots to photograph this man made feat, we choose Battery Spencer for this profile of GGB. This was an amazing experience as we settled in to watch the end of day turn into night casting darkness with shimmering lights over this magnificent city. I am lucky enough to say I had my 35th birthday that night, with this as my back drop, listening to my girlfriend Morgan and my sister Kate sing me Happy Birthday and presenting me with cupcakes! We completed this wonderful evening by walking over the Golden Gate Bridge, just because we could.

Oxbow Bend, Grand Tetons National Park, Wyoming, USA

This beautiful scenic spot is part of Grand Teton National Park. Mt Moran is the backdrop for this photograph, which is rated as one of the top ten spots to view within the National Park. Just as we were heading into the RV to sleep after watching the sunset, a chorus of hyena howls echoed through the valley, spine tingling to listen to, a moment I'll never forget! We lived on the wild side for the night to achieve this dawn shot, luckily not meeting the bear that walked past our RV during the night! We found his fresh paw prints beneath fresh frost in the morning!!
