Towards The Horizon

I shot this image late afternoon on a hot summer day. I positioned the couple under the shade of a tree. The green foliage helps frame them perfectly and compliments the blue ocean which stretches out to the horizon.

I have used monochrome in this image to add contrast and show the intimate relationship between the bride and horse.

I positioned the bride to frame her reflection perfectly in this window pane. The blues in the frame really make the white dress pop as she waits for her transport to the ceremony.

I gave this couple time just to sit at their leisure as I found the ideal position to take this image. I was looking to isolate the couple by using natural light to highlight them in this natural setting.

The boys insisted on a car photo. It became natural for the boys to lean up against the bonnet telling tales of the day to come.

The sun was extremely bright so we used an umbrella to defuse the light for this portrait. I have let an abundance of light into the background to seperate the whites in the fountain and the brides dress.

I shot this wedding in winter which helped give an even light with few shadows. I loved the depth of the driveway and elongated tress to set the mood for this image.

I placed the wedding party apart on the slope to add a sense of movement and depth to the image.

I deliberately set the boys apart from the girls. I have them facing each other to give the feeling of belonging to each other.

I wanted to show the mate ship between these to men. I placed them at ease around the wood heap which relaxed them in their pose for the image.
